| La Fortuna is a new detached wooden lodge situated on the edge of the historic town of Stirling. The lodge interior has been beautifully furnished, co-ordinated and is well appointed. The lounge / dining area is light and airy with French doors leading out onto a lovely covered balcony area at the front, which has outdoor seating to relax and enjoy the view. The kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped. Downstairs there is a king sized bedroom next to the large, spacious family bathroom. Upstairs there are a further two bedrooms and a shower room. The main entrance is ramped and all ground floor rooms have wide door openings and light switches at waist height. There is free use of the on-site Hot Tub, which is housed in its own log cabin. By arrangement you could also treat yourself to a hair cut/styling or beauty treatments in the comfort of your own lodge. La Fortuna sits in an open, spacious grassy garden, close to road links. There is a lovely view north towards the Ochil Hills and out over to the Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle. The historic town of Stirling is only 2 miles away, where you can visit attractions such as the Castle, the Wallace Monument. Delve into the history behind William Wallace, Robert the Bruce King of Scotland and Robert Roy MacGregor. It also has a great shopping centre and leisure facilities, multi screen cinema and many and varied eateries. There are many activities for every age and interest: Blair Drummond Safari Park, the Falkirk Wheel, Knockhill Race Course, numerous golf courses and lochs for fishing. The Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park is only a short drive away. The Trossachs is an amazing location for outdoor enthusiasts as there are endless miles of forest roads and trails to explore, both walking and cycling. Close to the motorway to explore further afield Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and Fife can all be easily reached and each within an hours drive away. This is a fantastic central location to explore central Scotland, which has something to offer the entire family.Property has oil central heating. |
