Booking information for The Gardener's Bothy

The Gardener's Bothy, a delightful, romantic property for two is where the Garden's team would have stored their equipment and stopped for a well-earned cup of tea and a rest. With its exposed brick and old country wooden floor, the Gardener’s Bothy has been given a warm scheme with unique touches including a table made out of an antique grape bin.

Entering the property through large glazed doors, the open plan living space features a hi-spec kitchen, wood burning stove, sheep skin rugs and a comfy sofa. The large bedroom has a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a bath made for two, heated floors, twin sinks and soft lighting. A secret door from the garden leads into the historic walled garden with direct access to your very own entrance to the Granary Grill for you to explore and enjoy at your leisure.

The team in our 1767 Granary Brasserie & Bakery prepare your welcome hamper which will include milk, butter, eggs, cheese, biscuits, freshly baked bread and a bottle of wine – all of which are sourced from the food heroes who we work with both locally and further afield.

If you don't feel like cooking the Granary Brasserie is approximately a 20-minute walk or a short drive from the property. The Granary Brasserie draws inspiration from local and estate produce with seasonal dishes, sharing boards and our signature Weston Park Burger and delicious desserts. The Granary Brasserie is open for lunch and dinner on Friday, Lunch and Dinner on Saturday and Sunday Lunch. Over in the Granary Bakery you will find award-winning coffee, homemade sandwiches and wholesome cakes. Throughout the day you can enjoy savoury and sweet tarts, pastries and yoghurt pots, cakes, brioches and afternoon tea bakes.
The Weston Park Foundation, an independent charitable trust who own and maintain the estate, has given each property a new lease of life balancing comfort and modernity whilst remaining sympathetic to their extraordinary heritage thus providing a rare opportunity to stay in the heart of this historical Estate.

Set in 1,000 acres of Capability Brown Parkland, Weston Park is a stately home, events venue, visitor attraction and luxury get away all rolled into one. At certain times of the year you will need to share the estate with a wide variety of events that take place in and around the Parkland.

The Summer House , Eyton on Severn
Click here for more about The Summer House

Price: £ from £ 326.00

Sleeps: 2

Booking information for The Summer House

The Summer House and Octagonal Tower built in around 1607 by Sir Francis Newport was originally used as a banqueting house for entertaining his guests to dinner. Unfortunately the main house was destroyed by a fire and never rebuilt and therefore The Summer House is the only remaining structure from that time. Today, this Grade II listed tower forms an airy retreat, set in the rolling Shropshire countryside. It offers excellent views to the East, and views of the Shropshire Hills to the South and the West. The building, now part of the Raby Estate, has been sympathetically modernised to accommodate guests. This provides a very private and unique getaway.

The property is tucked away in the hamlet of Eyton-on-Severn, near the ancient Roman settlement at Wroxeter and is surrounded by stunning countryside. Immediately to the East rises the Wrexin, a formidable hill said to be the result of a giant depositing a spade of earth he had intended to use to bury Telford. To the south lies the River Severn, and beyond can be seen the Shropshire Hills, the last English heights before the Welsh border. All of the surrounding countryside can be readily explored from the Summer House. You can stroll amongst the fields and lanes directly from the door via nearby public footpaths, or explore further afield into Shropshire and the border counties.
