You can visit Boyle with King House, Boyle Abbey and the farmers market (Saturdays).

The view down from the house and out over the lake is stunning. A long Nature Trail leads down to the lake which makes a pleasant walk and when you reach the lake you can fish, swim or even water ski on your own door step.
The grounds are private and so the jetty there is all yours! There is always a boat for hire at the Jetty should you wish to cross the lake to the beautiful Lough Key Forest Park or you may prefer to cycle the 3 miles in which case there are bikes for hire at the house. Boyle just 6 miles away visit King House, Boyle Abbey and the farmers market (Saturdays). Plenty of Restaurants/Bars locally offering very good value for money.18 Hole golf course and Argina mountain mines close by. Other fishing lakes in the immediate area Lough Gara and Lough Arrow.
