This charming cosy barn conversion has an inviting woodburning stove, a loft style bedroom and a kitchen corner which has a hob for cooking and a combi microwave (no oven). There are good restaurants in nearby villages Garristown and Ashbourne. The area is famous for race horsing with easy access to both FairyHouse and Bettystown whilst the historic sites of Newgrange, Hill of Tara and the Battle of the Boyne are also only short distances away.

~ TV only plays DVD's as the area is bad for getting channels but the owner has a selection of DVD' available.

Locally there are several great restaurants to choose from, shopping centres and leisure facilities, multi screen cinema, theatre and pubs in Drogheda (9 miles) and Ashbourne also 9 miles away.

There are 3 golf courses within a 20 minute drive, tennis courts within 20 minute drive, horse racing at Bellewstown (5 miles), Navan (17 miles) and Fairyhouse (10 miles). River and Sea angling are available within 10 miles and hunting can be arranged locally also.
There are also 3 equestrian centres within a 20 minute drive.

The beaches at Bettystown/Laytown and Gormanstown are all within a half hour drive.

Festivals held locally are the Drogheda Samba festival in July and the Bellewstown racing festival also in July.

There area is dotted with megalithic tomb sites - the most notable are Newgrange and Knowth.

It is also a great touring base for the neighbouring counties. Just 30 minutes drive from Dublin Airport. The Dublin bus stops right outside the gate and is a 50 minute ride to the city centre. This saves you the hassles of city driving and parking and is great way to relax and enjoy the scenery.
