Sleeps: 5

Booking information for Seabrae Cottage

In an elevated setting above Tobermory, with panoramic views across the bay to the Sound of Mull, Seabrae Cottage is in an idyllic location. Tobermory (as depicted in the children’s television programme ’Balamory what’s the story’), is a small town with a bustling harbour and colourful houses. A short walk from the property will take you along the main street, where a variety of restaurants and bars serve excellent local fayre. Mull is renowned for its amazing wildlife with golden eagles, basking sharks, dolphins, otters and the very rare white tailed sea eagle, often spotted around the rugged coastline. The Treshnish Isles and Staffa are other must see destinations, with Lunga, the best place to view the puffins. Whale watching boat trips leave regularly from the harbour, and the Kilchoan ferry will allow you to explore the Ardnamurchan Peninsula by bike or car.
Magnificent coastal walks and forest trails can be enjoyed, and there are plenty off road tracks to cycle. Tobermory’s 9 hole golf course boasts some of the most panoramic views in Scotland, and for keen climbers Ben More is on the list of Munro’s. White sandy beaches are scattered around the island and are often found deserted. Iona Abbey, founded by St Columba, is one of Scotland’s most historic and sacred sites, and is reached by a small passenger ferry from Fionnphort.
Seabrae Cottage has a pretty garden and patio to the front of the cottage that makes the best of the sea views (surely the best in Tobermory!), the perfect spot for watching the boats, or just relaxing with a glass of wine. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Ground Floor: Living room: With 28" Freeview TV and DVD player.
Kitchen/dining area: With electic oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.

Bedroom 3: With single bed.

Economy 7 heating (ground floor), electric panel heaters (first floor), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Washing machine and tumble dryer (first floor in cupboard). Enclosed, lawned garden, patio with garden furniture (located across a quiet road). Bike store. On road parking. No smoking. Please note: There are 5 steps to access the garden, which also has a gentle sloping lawn.
