There is so much to explore in the local area, including the Imperial War Museum Duxford, where you can lose yourself wandering under and around some of the most iconic aircraft in the world and get hands-on with their award-winning interactive exhibitions. The museum is home to an impressive collection of over two hundred aircraft, as well as tanks, military vehicles and boats, so true enthusiasts will find that one day really just isn’t enough. Also close by is the medieval market town of Saffron Walden, 3 miles, which was once the location of Oliver Cromwell’s army headquarters, and where you can enjoy Bridge End Gardens and numerous shopping and eating opportunities.
