Falmouth, home to the National Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle is about 4 miles, the cathedral city of Truro is 6 miles, and the Bissoe cycle trail is nearby. For garden lovers, the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Trelissick and Trebah are all within a 40 minute drive respectively.

A communal area is nearby and provides a coin operated washing machine and tumble dyer as well as tourist information for Cornwall. Just a stone's throw away is the wonderful outdoor swimming pool which sits alongside the owner's property, as well as a small herd of alpacas. The children are welcome to assist the owner at feeding times. The seaside town of Bude provides a wonderful day out for all the family. With its long sandy beaches, selection of shops and restaurants. A scenic canal footpath is fantastic for walks or cycling and the nearby beach at Widemouth Bay is famous for its surfing. Slightly further afield are the picturesque villages of Boscastle, Tintagel and Clovelly, all worth a visit and easily accessible within a 35 minute drive.
